The Witches of Newton (Funk Version)

This one is for a group of lovely ladies I knew during college. They lived at the end of that lonely street called Newton. Careful girls, that's Black Magic you're fuckin' with.

Thanks to Dave Malia for the gruesome guitar work.

Bells of the Bitter

I wrote this song with the hopes that a friend and fellow musician would want to use it for his own composition. He didn't, but I still love it. I hope you do too.

Thump

Thump

Here's an oldie but a goodie. I give you Thump, a funk groove I wrote about that place in your soul that holds the beat. The place we go to when euphoria stops by for a dance. Actually I don't knw wnat it's about. I wrote it while in a trance.

Sex Funk Ambulance

This song was written once I discovered that little rolling bass line that starts out the song. I guess it is about being at a party as a musician and everybody is jammin' to your song, either being played by the DJ or if you're performing it live. Either way it feels great. Check out the NEW VIDEO!

Harmonica

Written during my high school years, Harmonica used to have lyrics but I am too embarrassed to publish them here. The song, or at least the music was revived for my band Camelhead.

The Funky Boogaloo

The Funky Boogaloo

I wrote the lyrics for this song on the spot while I recorded them and I think you can tell. We had just lost power in a surprise snow storm. When it came back on I was jonesing to get back into the groove. I fired up the studio and went to town.

11.18.05

I don't remember why I titled this song with the date, but I am guessing that it was the day I started recording it. Listen until the end. It have a funky twist with guest guitarist, Paul Ceppaglia from McCarthyizm.

Livin' the Dream

All you gotto do is come up with a funky bass line and a cool name. Then you just let JC hit the mic and let his personalities fly. He's a brother that know about the good life, or at least the plastic fantastic Hollywood one.
